Verde Global Partners (Verde) is an integrated real estate development and building technology company focused on the underserved yet dynamic Caribbean Latin America (CALA) regions with additional export into the United States marketplace.
Verde builds net zero, and climate resilient residential and commercial buildings that employ industry leading edge off-site fabrication technologies and delivery methods. Projects are completed by Verde directly or in partnership with prequalified local and regional developers. Verde is particularly focused on meeting the current, and increasing need, for affordable (Social Housing) and attainable options for the growing middle class in this region.

The challenges of today’s interest in energy and climate are shifting the market quickly towards advanced energy and resource efficiency in homes and buildings. The dynamic ways that the advances in Building and Energy Codes are rapidly changing construction is only one example of a broader, market determined push for greater efficiency in energy, resiliency, upcoming carbon impact requirements and climate protection.

Verde is currently involved in the development of the forthcoming 2024 International Energy Standard which will replace the current ICC Energy Code, serving on the Commercial committee, the Building Envelope sub committee and advising the Residential Committee in the USA. This Standard is being created to transform the market creating a substantial increase above the current 2021 codes and will establish a “glide-slope” with a trajectory to require “Net Zero” by 2030. (Net Zero is defined by U.S. D.O.E as a Home or Building that produces or offsets as much energy as it uses on an annual basis). There are new carbon impact requirements included in this new standard. Verde Panels exceed these requirements at market rate, before they are adopted and enforced and will remain ahead of the future requirements thereby mitigating obsolescence for our clients, along with need for our own manufacturing upgrades due to updates in Codes.

Verde International is poised to be a market disrupter; creating low maintenance, high-quality Panels and systems to build buildings that are resistant to wind, fire, seismic and water damage with a focus on healthier comfort; all for its occupants. They are also inherently far more energy efficient, and quite simply a better long-term investment than typical, traditional construction methods in use since the 1950's. The patented technology used to manufacture these panels, has not been able to be duplicated, although attempts have been made for years (decades). It seems the market has come to us!

Continued growth in demand for offsite manufactured buildings and components, a limited workforce and extreme costs of traditional materials provides a tremendous opportunity to supply those manufacturers with our panel systems, creating yet another market for Verde.

The Building Envelope created with these panels is immediately and consistently in compliance with “above-code” High-Performance Standards such as the American National Standards Institute’s ANSI ICC-700 “The National Green Building Standard”, USGBC’s LEED program, E.P.A.’s Energy Star, Indoor Air and Water Sense Programs and the internationally recognized Active House Specifications.
